Why would I make a list of just the best accessory, when I could give you a complete guide to all the best clothing mods that exist in Skyrim?
Khajiit Ear Rings. Check Out This Mod. We all know (probably) that the Khajiit are to Skyrim what gypsies are to Europe, and this Khajiit Ear Rings mod just fits them all too well. The Khajiit culture is ingrained into Tamriel’s society. So it’s easy to tell they brought most of their jewelry from Elsweyr. Page 2 of 5 - Equip multiple rings - posted in Skyrim Mod Requests: 2 Rings is good, All you have to do is get a black soul gem and you can put tons of power into a ring; for instance, I currently wear a ring that gives me +%30 magicka regen.
I’ve compiled the best outfit overhauls, ring additions, accessory modifications, and everything else I could find that would fit into the clothing category so you can completely change the way your character looks in the game.
I’ve taken the liberty to filter out some inappropriate mods from this list to keep it SFW(sorry to disappoint!)
I’ve also tried to avoid adding highly rated mods that simply added clothing items from other games, like Naruto’s Akatsuki robes, for example. If you notice anything from another game to have made it into my list, it’s because it fully deserves it.
Also I didn’t notice any of these mods clashing or being incompatible with one another, but keep in mind that I didn’t try them all at the same time – I did so in batches. They should still be compatible all at once, but bear this thought in mind anyway.
25. Wear Circlets with Hoods
This amazing mod allows you to wear circlets with hoods. Shocking, I know. However, it isn’t a simple as it seems.
This mod allows them to work together quite well indeed, as the creator of the mod definitely put some effort into creating it, and you won’t have any clipping issues when wearing them. It’s not just a mod that enables both things to work together, there were some visual changes involved in it.
There might still be some clipping issues with certain smaller hoods and bigger circlets, but in general you shouldn’t see any visual inconveniences while wearing both items.
Skyrim does have its visual clipping issues anyway, so it wouldn’t be too out of character if the circlets clipped through the hoods.
24. Dragonborn Mages Robes Retexture Pack
Are you not satisfied with the way the Dragonborn robes look? Maybe you somehow wish they would look… better?
Well, you’re a rather demanding person, aren’t you?
Thankfully someone had the exact same thought as you did. The Dragonborn Mages Robes Retexture Pack changes the way the four basic robes that were included in Dragonborn DLC look, making them look a bit more different and much better.
The mod is very easy to install, as mod other mods on this list. It’s just a visual change, but I dig it very much. Hopefully you will too!
23. Colovian Noble Clothes
Even though this mod was made for the Beyond Skyrim mod, the number of clothing items that it adds to Skyrim makes it one of the best clothing mods that I’ve come across.
The clothes are made with the same detail and degree of quality that you’ll find on the Beyond Skyrim mod itself, and it is made to suit the needs of even the most demanding dresser in the lands.
22. Bandanas of Skyrim
Man, this is an item that you probably didn’t know you wanted until you check this mod out.
It gives you the chance to craft bandanas in the game, and notice how I’m using the term in plural – not only are there different color variations of the item, but it also adds two types of bandanas: you can wear it tied and untied, which makes it a fashionable little item that you can use.
It’s a great clothing item to be worn by rogues and thieves. It would also suit an assassin as well, so you might want to give it a shot!
21. Diverse Priests
Skyrim priests are already quite dull on their own, why not spice things up a bit and at least change the way their robes are colored?
This mod might seem simple on its own, but it adds a necessary level of depth to the game by changing the colors of robes that priests wear, allowing them to actually look like different people and not as if they all praised the same Divine (or Daedric Prince).
20. JewelCraft
This mod might not have a direct influence on the clothing of Skyrim, but it adds the ability for you to craft almost every single piece of jewelry that exists in the game.
The mod aims to keep things as realistic as possible, so crafting the items will require you to gather the necessary metals.
It’s a super amazing mod, and one of the best jewelry additions of this list.
The creator of the mod is also very keen on updating the mod constantly, so you can expect various updates to be made to the JewelCraft mod as time goes by.
Let’s just hope they don’t get bored of updating it!
19. Archmage of Winterhold HD Retexture
Nope, this isn’t a new addition to the range of clothing that you have in Skyrim, nor will you be able to find this Archmage robe anywhere different from where you get them in base-game Skyrim.
You still need to complete the College of Winterhold questline if you wish to get your hands on the Archmage robes.
The mod does retexture the way the clothes of the Archmage look, and man, they look quite good once the mod is installed.
They change the basic clothes and add an HD look to them. I find the addition to be quite cool!
18. Linds’ Necromancer Robes Revamp
The level of detail that this Necromancer Robes have is just absolutely fantastic.
You will find them to be amazing to look in necromancers, as the name suggests, as they are dark with some gold finishes on it and they look absolutely fantastic.
They are much more detailed than the basic robes worn by Necromancers in vanilla Skyrim.
The Necromancer Robes made by Lind include a sweet skull on the design, which is also much more detailed than the regular robes worn by the Skyrim Necromancers throughout the forsaken lands of northern Tamriel.
17. Velvet Robes and Cloaks
You can guess what this mod adds to the game, I guess.
In case you don’t, it adds robes and cloaks made of velvet. There are different color variations that you can purchase and craft.
The mod has been constantly updated, and the models of the clothing items have been reworked multiple times to get them to where they are today.
I have to say that these items do look as if they were vanilla, so the work put into making them so is as uncanny as it gets.
I fully recommend it if you like to have items similar to the ones that come in the base game.
16. Skyrim Scarves and Mufflers
Scarves!
There’s no better way to combat the cold environments that surround the northern lands of Tamriel than wearing some cool and well-knit scarves and mufflers.
How did no one at the Bethesda studios think about adding these?!
Granted, they’re not probably the warrior’s fashion choice, but man, they do seem to fit quite nicely into the game.
The game adds a ton of different variations of the items to the game as well, with over 50 of these fantastic clothing pieces having been introduced into Skyrim. You can craft them at the tanning rack, as they count as regular hide crafting items.
15. Opulent Outfits – Mages and Merchants
Opulent Outfits changes the way barkeepers and merchants dress in the game. It’s part of the Opulent Outfits mod pack, who has grown to become one of the finest additions of clothes to the community.
It’s also the first of two Opulent Outfits that made it into my list, and credit where it’s due – the creator of the mod managed to make some very elaborated and nice pieces of clothing.
They come in various colors and work in all types of bodies across the region. What’s not to love about this mod?
It adds so much variety and quality that your game will up its fashion game above its regular standards.
14. Hoods and Circlets
The Hoods and Circlets mod works similarly to the Wear Circlets with Hoods mod that took the 25th spot here.
But there’s a reason why this one is higher rated than the other one.
The level of detail is much better, and it only enables certain hoods to be worn with certain circlets, which removes the entire clipping issue almost on its entirety.
The mod has been updated and it now has almost no bugs, and you can always leave feedback on the creator’s page if you find any issues with it. I haven’t found any, and I’ve always wanted to wear circlets with hoods, so it took the 14th spot on this list!
13. DovahBling Jewelry
If you think the name of this mod is a bit tacky, wait until you see the mod itself. It literally adds bling to the game, and not just jewelry – literal bling.
Do you know those types of rings and pendants that some people wear?
Skyrim Se Wear More Rings
Well there are now Skyrim versions of them. It’s just what it sounds like – bling jewelry but with Skyrim designs!
The mod also has one reason to make it so far up on my list.
All of the rings are craftable and it also adds a ten-ring system to the game, which allows the Dragonborn to wear all of their precious new items at once. You might look like a ridiculous clown.
But if that’s how you like it, that’s how you get it!
12. Prince and the Pauper
Well, reading the description of this mod makes it sound extremely classist, so I’m pretty sure its addition is going to piss off a lot of people on the left side of the political spectrum.
I swear that’s not my intention! The Prince and the Pauper mod changes the way most kids in the game dress to make their clothes reflect their social status more accordingly.
The mod itself is a clothing overhaul for children, and it does make them dress far more appropriately.
I like it a lot. But I wouldn’t advise you to download it if you often go to those everyone should be equal rallies.
11. Mage Backpack
Why would a traveling mage not wear a backpack? Ask that to Bethesda, because the creator of this mod hit the nail straight in its head.
The Mage Backpack mod adds a completely lore-friendly backpack to the game, which contains items that a traveling mage would carry around on their back.
It also adds a cool quest that you’ll need to finish if you want to obtain it.
It’s not as easy as it seems, but it will be worth your effort and time at the end of the road!
10. Fur Hoods HD
Skyrim winters are cold, and most of the hoods that come with vanilla Skyrim do a crappy job at keeping your head warm.
Fur Hoods HD adds a new type of hood that is sure to withstand even the coldest of Skyrim winters, and you’ll love the way it was designed.
It looks really cool, and that’s my completely unbiased opinion.
9. Common Clothes Mod
Clothing overhauls, anyone? This mod adds new clothes to the game, and the number of clothes that it adds is absolutely ridiculous.
The mod contains over 100 new different clothes that you’ll be able to find across the lands of Skyrim or craft them at the tanning rack if you’re too desperate to get them.
With literally a hundred items to choose from, this is the mod you want to download if you’re tired of the vanilla outfits!
8. Sabre Gear Backpack
If you’re playing a hunter in Skyrim, then this mod is going to be one you love.
It fits the lore of the game perfectly as it only adds backpacks made using animal fur, but most importantly, it makes your character look like a fearless badass.
It matches the Sabre Cat Gear Mod outfits as well, as they were made by the same creators – check that one out for a cool-looking hunting outfit!
7. Opulent Outfits – Mage Robes of Winterhold
Alright, if you’ve ever had the feeling that Skyrim was lacking robes, just quit what you’re doing right now and download this mod.
Opulent Outfits adds a staggering 86 new clothing items to the game (all of which are robes for you to dress up on a daily basis or whenever you’re going to perform acts of necromancy).
Keep in mind that all of these items are made using high-quality textures, so they’ll look even better if you’re running graphic enhancement mods for Skyrim.
6. Face Masks of Skyrim
If you’re an assassin or a thief, this mod is going to suit you better than any other on this list.
Wear a face mask whenever you’re about to perform an assassination or robbery regardless of the race that you’re using to play (the mod works for Argonians and Khajit as well).
I mean, wearing them doesn’t mean that you won’t be identified by the guards, but it still makes you look cooler.
5. Rustic Clothing
Looking to overhaul your game to give it a Nordic feel?
Then check this mod out. It changes every single piece of clothing in the game to give it better textures as well as a look that turns each item into a more rustic version of itself.
Not much else to add, but don’t let that fool you – it’s a massive overhaul!
4. Improved NPC Clothing
Are you tired of seeing NPCs walk around in the same clothes all the time?
Well, this mod won’t fix that.
However it will improve NPC clothing by making the textures of all common robes and clothes in the game far better, using HD images in this complete clothing revamp.
3. Bandolier – Bags and Pouches
Ah, a mod that serves as a QOL addition as well as a regular clothing mod!
These are the ones I love to see.
This mod will add a variety of items that you can equip to your character to make him look cooler, but at the same time increase the carrying capacity in a lore-friendly way. It doesn’t make sense for a traveler not to wear at least some pouches on top of their clothes – especially given how many items one leaves behind in the game!
2. Winter is Coming
I have to tell you, I combined Winter is Coming – Cloaks with the mod that makes it so your character is heavily affected by the cold.
And it was one of the most immersive experiences that I’ve ever had in the game.
Don’t let the title of this mod fool you, though – this mod doesn’t add Game of Thrones cloaks to the game; the cloaks simply look like items that the characters wear in the famous TV show with one of the worst finales in television history.
1. Cloaks of Skyrim
This mod is taking the first spot on my list because of how amazingly well done the cloaks are.
They just make your character look fantastic, and there are almost 100 items that you can try out.
Never again will you feel that there aren’t enough clothing options in the game! It doesn’t matter if you’re a mage, an assassin, a rogue, a bandit, a thief, or even a commoner looking to wear new robes…
There’s one that’ll perfectly suit you in the Cloaks of Skyrim mod, and you’re gonna like the way you look. I guarantee it.

The arsenal of the Dragonborn is usually something to behold in the latter stages of the game, once you are past level 50 and have the best gear available for the taking.
But, once you have played the game several times, or when you are on your first playthrough but have finished most tasks, you will want fresh weapons to add to the quest mods.
So for this post I’ve compiled a large list of 25 weapon mods that will enhance your Elder Scrolls experience to unforeseen heights.
Some of these mods are upgrades on already existing weapons. Others add dozens of new swords, bows, and unique gear to the game. But note that all these mods are free so you won’t be paying a dime.
It is up to you to decide which of these you would rather play with, and how lore-friendly you would like the game to remain.
25. Witcher’s Silver Sword
If you are a player who loves to mix things up with other franchises, you will enjoy the Witcher’s Silver Sword mod.
It simply replaces the Skyrim Silver Sword with one used in The Witcher series, providing the unrelenting strength of Geralt in order to kill the mighty foes he encountered during his adventures.
Skyrim Multiple Rings Mod List
The Silver Sword does not have any particular effects, but it gives you the unique feel of authenticity and spins the world of Skyrim into something different.
It is well-detailed as well, helping to create more immersion!
24. CL’s Ebony Weapons
One common thing you will discover when looking for Skyrim weapon mods is the Ebony weapons are not fan-favorites and could look better – especially when you take into consideration how the armors are awesome.
CL himself, a popular modder in the Skyrim community, has retextured many of the base game Ebony weapons and turned the designs into incredibly beautiful pieces of weaponry.
The CL’s Ebony Weapons mod is a compilation of all of CL’s work in one file, which will replace all base game ebony weapons with spectacular and innovative items.
23. Better Bows
The Better Bows mod allows the base game bows to be complemented by a larger selection of ranged weapons, which will enhance your arsenal and add a much-needed touch of variety to the selection.
The bows were designed using the base templates of Skyrim’s ranged weapons, so they do not look out of place!
22. Unique Bows Collection
Much like the last mod, the Unique Bows Collection adds 10 new bows to the game with exceptional designs.
They are simpler than the Better Bows mod, but the mod is better supported and works better with enchantments, earning it a higher spot on our list.
If you’re big into the archery path then you’ll want to check out these weapons.
21. Warglaive of Azzinoth (Twin Blades)
If you are a Warcraft fan or an avid WoW player you are going to absolutely love this next mod.
It adds the infamous Twin Blades of Azzinoth to the game, used by Illidan in the Warcraft lore.
Much like the original blades, this mod comes pre-enchanted with the “Power of Green Fire”, giving them an unbelievable amount of power but does not allow you to place any further enchantments on them.
20. Magicka Sabers
Are you a Star Wars fan looking to keep a Skyrim playthrough lore-friendly?
The Magicka Sabers mod is going to suit your needs. This mod adds lightsabers into the game, but it is explained how the sabers themselves are powered with elements found in Skyrim.
Their existence is technically logical in Tamriel.
Sure, the explanation might not be the best out of every other mod on this list. But it should suffice if you wish to slay foes with your lightsaber across the plains of the realm!
19. The Ice Blade of The Monarch
This mod adds a couple of new weapons to the game, as well as a staff, which can be obtained by completing a quest which adapts to the lore of the game.
The powerful weapons will serve you well in battle and strike fear in the hearts of every foe daring to stand in your way.
18. Dawnguard Arsenal
If you have played the Dawnguard DLC and fought the Volkihar Menace, you probably know their weapons are on the limited end of the spectrum.
This mod aims to correct that by adding countless new weapons with the same design you would expect Dawnguard weapons to have.
Some of these models were made from scratch, and the work put into them is extremely noticeable!
17. Expanded Skyrim Weaponry
Do you feel like the base game weapons are lacking in variety?
Well, this mod is what you are after. It adds 95 new and different weapons to the game, making your choice of finding a favorite more difficult than before.
All of the weapons are lore-friendly and use the same materials that are included in the base game.
16. Automatic Crossbows
This mod adds automatic crossbows to the lore of Skyrim by presenting you a story where the Thalmor find some old Dwarven blueprints showing how to build these fearsome weapons.
As such, you will be able to fire arrows as if they were machine gun ammunition!
Keep in mind this weapon is a bit overpowered so if you are not keen on ancient over-the-top guns, this might not do much for you.
15. Ghosus Weapon Pack
The Ghosus Weapon Pack adds many different new weapons into the game.
There are a total of 18 new weapons, but each one has 32 variations and they come with a unique shield emblematic to this mod.
The weapons are highly detailed and look as if they belong in the game, so finding them and wielding them is going to be as lore-friendly as you can imagine.
Though the weapons adapt to the game, they have their roots and origins in comics and other stories. You can even get Thor’s Hammer with this pack!
14. Dread Knight Weapon Set
So the Dread Knight Weapon Set makes its glorious return to Skyrim after the success this mod had in the days of Oblivion.
It adds a set of weapons seeming to fit right in with a knight who represents death, so dark knights and warrior necromancers might find a lot of joy in using these weapons.
In any case, the weapons are fairly balanced, and the design is as beautiful as you can imagine.
The weapons have inscriptions written in Daedra, adding to the eerie feeling they emit when you wield them.
13. Lost Longswords
Fans of two-handed weapons and swords that feel a bit exaggerated to wield into battle, rejoice.
This mod adds a collection of longswords to the game that seemed to be lost with time, but they have made their way into your hands, thanks to this amazing mod.
It even included a Dragonbone longsword you can craft, making it one of the most powerful in the game.
If you feel like the longswords included in the base game are just not enough, you will need to try this one out.
You are undoubtedly going to walk out happy with the many new weapons that get introduced to the game using this mod!
12. Lore Weapon Expansion
The amount of beautifully crafted weapons introduced with this mod are not only great, but also extremely carefully crafted.
You can see the modder is an artist who has put plenty of work into developing these amazing new weapons, amongst which you will find many types of daggers, swords, axes, and other heavy weapons made of the main materials found in the game.
The additions are strict to the lore of Skyrim.
And none of the weapons introduced to the game feel out of place no matter how you play.
It is a truly fascinating mod and the weapons are a work of art.
11. Faction Crossbows
One really wonders why crossbows were not added into the Elder Scrolls story when Skyrim was released, but what is done is done.
Thankfully, modders have found a way to create these weapons and introduce them into the game.
The Faction Crossbows mod is probably one of the most lore-friendly mods out of them all, as it adds a craft-able crossbow, as well as variations for every faction in the game.
You can use your Dark Brotherhood crossbow to slay the souls of the innocent, or the Thieves’ crossbow to aid you in your days as a robber.
10. Elemental Arrows
There may be many different arrows in Skyrim, but it still feels as if Bethesda should have allowed players to be more creative in terms of style.
This mod does exactly that by adding a ton of different arrows to the game, all of which have unique effects which improve your playstyle.
They also allow you to vary bows and combine them with new ammunition.
You will be able to craft arrows with special effects based on the arrows already included in the game, so things will not feel out of place when you shoot them.
9. The Huntsman
The Huntsman is the most spectacular bow modders have managed to create for Skyrim.
It is such an amazing bow, no other mod comes close to it, perhaps maybe the Scoped Bows mod.
It is the perfect companion for all kinds of players – but particularly hunters.
The mod is designed to level up as the player does, which means it will not become useless after a certain level limit.
You can even upgrade the bow and change its attributes.
Upgrading it also changes its shape, which is a neat addition in a mod and not in the base game.
8. Weapons of The Third Era
Though this mod is quite old, it still stands amongst the best Skyrim weapon mods in the Nexus community.
It adds new and unique weapons to the game, all of which aim to resemble those used in the Third Era of the world.
The designs of the weapons are magnificent and beautiful, with steel, silver, and even glass variations having been included in the arsenal this mod adds to the game.
7. Heavy Armory – New Weapons
Heavy Armory adds a staggering 100 new weapons to the game, including weapons no other Elder Scrolls game has ever entertained.
You will be able to wield a halberd and strike a fierce blow using clubs or spears, so it is up to you to decide what you are going to do with the variety this mod provides.
Keep in mind, you will also find many of these new weapons wielded by foes in the wild.
Be prepared to stand ready in case you encounter a high-leveled enemy wearing a giant halberd against you.
6. Sword of the Ancient Tongues
This mod adds a single sword into the game.
But dare I say it is the most lore-friendly sword on this list.
The sword has encryptions of Akatosh, as well as an inscription in draconic tongue, which reads “Dragonborn, by his honor is sworn, to keep evil forever at bay…”.
The sword is incredibly detailed. And everything looks so in place you can see this modder is a skilled 3D artist.
Note you will need a solid crafting to create this sword, but the effort you put into it is as worth it as it gets – it is an amazing weapon worthy of being wielded by the Dragonborn.
5. JaySus Swords
The sheer number of swords, blades, and axes this mod adds to the game is so staggeringly high, you will struggle to try them all.
In fact, the mod adds a grand total of 53 weapons into the game, all of which have unique designs and look extremely well made.
The creator of the mod, JaySus, may not be the most creative of modders in terms of naming, but he sure did one heck of a good job with the creation of such a unique arsenal of weapons.
4. Scoped Bows
If you want scoped weaponry, well Skyrim may not be the best game to obtain it.
However some modders beg to differ. They have managed to incorporate scoped weapons into Skyrim without breaking the essence of the game.
Admittedly, it is difficult to explain why a bow would have a scope in this era, but hey, that is a small little detail.
This mod adds lore-friendly scoped bows into the game, and the bows look very natural and seem to fit in quite well with the overall feel of the game.
3. Isilmeril LOTR Weapons Collection
Are you a fan of Lord of the Rings? If you’re playing Skyrim then you most likely are fond of LotR or its lore(a wild guess!)
This mode, created by modder Isilmeril, adds a massive number of weapons from Middle Earth and places them straight into its resembling Tamriel, and they are all yours for the taking.
You can choose to wield the mighty mace of Sauron, as it is included with this mod!
The number of weapons and their quality is staggering, and you are almost guaranteed to fall in love with what this mod has to offer.
There is an extra mod that retextures everything to make it look even better!
2. Unique Uniques
Have you ever wondered why the unique weapons in Skyrim are not really unique?
You find this extremely rare mace once wielded by an Emperor and enchanted in the forges of Oblivion itself, yet its appearance is equal to any other mace in the game.
This mod fixes this issue. You will be able to tell when a weapon is unique solely because of its appearance. Zero point 6 by javed chaudhry pdf.
As such, it aims to retexture every unique weapon in the game to really make it stand out from the rest!
1. Immersive Weapons
Immersive Weapons takes the first spot on this list because of how well made it is.
The mod adds a wide variety of different weapons into the game with variants depending on the material.
It focuses on keeping things as accurate to the story as possible. And you will find the models of each weapon are perfectly integrated with the environment so easily.
The mod took a very long time to make and was updated for six months after its release, which makes it one of the best mods in the Nexus community and the most downloaded weapon mod by Skyrim fans!
